Dr. Pooja Dixit

Dr. Pooja Dixit is a psychiatrist whose passion is her occupation. Although she has a keen interest in and practices all specialties of psychiatry, she is specially trained in women's mental health issues, young-age psychiatric disorders (neurotic and psychotic), deaddiction, and related psychiatric conditions. Apart from using medicines, her strength lies in practicing non-pharmacological methods (psychotherapy). She engages in public awareness activities and has a problem-solving approach. Psychiatry, as seen by her, is less about stigma and more about leading a happy and successful life.

Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety disorders, stress management, sleep disturbances, OCD, bipolar disorder, and women’s mental health. Dr. Dixit believes in a patient-centered approach, offering personalized treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, and lifestyle counseling to promote long-term mental wellness.
